
International Inner Wheel is one of the largest women’s organisations in the world. It is active in over 100 countries and geographic locations with over 100,000 members. Inner Wheel is not a “fundraising” organisation but each club supports charities and projects of their choice.
FibreOctave, The Wearable Art & Musical Extravaganza, is a joint venture between the Inner Wheel clubs in Invercargill and is now a major event in their calendar.
We were asked to establish an identity for FibreOctave by first developing a logo and then a rack card. The logo incorporated a needle and a stylised treble clef, along with gold to give it an air of sophistication. When it came to designing the rack card, pictures from the event together with bold colours were used to create a ‘snappy’ feel and give a quick overview of the event.
