The Clutha Gold Trail, in conjunction with Central Otago District Council, is one of the ‘Great Rides’ of the Nga Haerenga, New Zealand Cycle Trail. Whether you walk it or ride it, this trail is full of variety – from undulating to flat to meandering; there is a journey of discovery around every corner. The trails proximity to the Otago Central Rail Trail and Roxburgh Gorge Trail will also ensure that visitors to the area have the opportunity to experience even more of Central Otago’s unique scenery and hospitality.
This brand development for the Clutha Gold Cycling and Walking Trails tells a story. They wanted to position Clutha Gold as more than just a cycling and walking trail and portray it as an unforgettable experience. Our approach in creating the identity was to use a warm, earthy colour palette and shapes from the area.
We were required to craft and develop the brand identity, secondary graphic, applications for promotional material, information signage, on-trail signage, highway signage, brochure layout and website layout.
